Our sat Prep process

We take a personalized approach for SAT prep through 1:1 tutoring and small group classes. Through our methods, students have improved their score an average of 150 points on the digital SAT within 4-5 weeks of learning.

We provide weekly targeted practice for both math and verbal sections. Students will be expected to do their practice problems and practice tests outside of classes and tutoring. Sharing the results from the practice tests are crucial in helping us personalize and meet the needs of students.

Digital SAT is an adaptive test and presents new challenges to students, which make it more difficult to score higher. Our tutors are specially trained to coach students on how to tackle Module 2 for both the math and verbal sections.

Uttam Shrestha - Instructor

Uttam has taught and coached SAT to more than 200 students. He focuses on helping students understand the SAT on a deeper level, resulting in an average score increase of 150 points. He scored 1590 on his own SAT.

Urina Kim - Manager/Instructor

Nutritional Sciences, BS @ UC Berkeley

Learning Design & Technology, MS @ Stanford University

Urina is a veteran high school science teacher with 7 years of experience working in Oakland and SF public schools. She is passionate about creating engaging learning opportunities for students of all ages. Her learning philosophy focuses on providing a joyful learning environment that allows students to explore their interests.

Carter Puckett - Instructor

Math & CS @ Occidental College

Carter is a current student at Occidental College and also enrolled in CalTech math and CS courses. He is an alum of the Proof School (special STEM high school) in San Francisco. He has a passion for teaching and has been teaching mathematics for the past 6 years. He currently tutors math for Hak Learning. He scored 1550 on his own SAT.

Upcoming & Ongoing SAT Offerings

Groups of 4-5 Students
Covers all the fundamentals of math & verbal sections [General 4-Week Syllabus]
Students are expected to complete practice problems and practice tests outside of class time.
Recommended: Schedule at least one 1:1 session to focus on specific needs for best results along with the class.

May SAT Practice Class (7 Weeks)

Dates: Sundays from March 16th to May 2nd

Time: 8 - 9 PM PT

SAT TEST DATE: May 3, 2025

This course is designed to help students commit to practicing SAT questions weekly. Instructors will review the difficult practice questions in class and cover additional practice together.

Students will also have access to pre-recorded videos as reference during the class period.

March SAT Prep Class (9 Weeks)

Dates: Sundays from January 5 to March 2nd

Time: 7:30-9:30PM PT (FULL)

SAT TEST DATE: March 8, 2025
